The deep fruit and spice-ladened aromas of ripe blackberry, dark cherry, chocolate and spicy vanillin oak with a touch of floral notes are repeated on the palate. Plum, mocha and white pepper add interest and enhance the palate. The union of supple tannins, rich oak notes and delicious flavors creates a luscious, well-balanced wine.

The perfumey nose offers a fragrant array of jammy blackberry, spicy oak and a hint of plum. A sensual mouthfeel reveals a delicious blend of fruit and spice - raspberry, blackberry, black pepper, creamy vanillin oak and a touch of plum and chocolate. The lush flavors spread across the palate, expanding into a lingering finish.

This wonderful sipping wine will also pair well with braised short ribs or lamb shanks with a tomato and red wine reduction sauce.

Our Sonoma County Zin is a harmonious blend of fruit from Dry Creek Valley and Alexander Valley. From the deep rich aromas to the lush juicy flavors, this Zin will make you want to sing. Layers of spicy fruit, white pepper, vanilla and toasty oak create enticing aromas. A bounty of luscious fruit flavors - blackberry, raspberry, black cherry and plum - mix with baking spices, black pepper, dark roasted coffee and toasty vanillin oak. Ths silky tannins, lush flavors laced with nice acidity and a creamy texture provide a well-balanced, hard-to-put-down Zinfandel.

This Zin is nicely balanced with sliky tannins and a structure for aging. It tastes so great now it might be tough to leave it in the cellar, so be sure to get enough to hide a case or two for a few years.
